Grain-free Banana Bread with Honey Rum Butter
Grain-free Banana Bread with Honey Rum Butter made from almond flour is a welcomed treat for anyone on a GF or grain-free diet.
Ingredients
Bread
- 4 Large Eggs
- 3 Medium Overly Ripe Bananas
- 1/4 cup Pure Maple Syrup
- 1/4 cup Almond Milk
- 1 tablespoon Malibu Island Spiced Rum (or vanilla)
- 2 teaspoons Baking Soda
- 1/2 teaspoon Sea Salt
- 1/2 teaspoon Cinnamon
- 1/4 teaspoon Nutmeg
- 2 1/4 cups Almond Flour
Rum Butter
- 1/2 cup Butter
- 1 teaspoon Malibu Island Spiced Rum
- 1/8 teaspoon Cinnamon
- 2 tablespoons Honey
Directions

Step 1

Preheat oven to 350 degrees. |
Step 2

In a medium bowl, mix eggs, bananas, maple syrup, almond milk, and rum. |
Step 3

In a separate bowl combine almond flour, baking soda, sea salt, cinnamon, and nutmeg. |

Combine wet ingredients into dry and stir until well incorporated. |
Step 5

Grease a loaf pan and pour in batter. Bake 40-50 minutes or until toothpick placed in center comes out clean.

Rum Butter

Step 6
|
In a small bowl, combine butter, honey, rum and cinnamon. Mix until fully incorporated. |
Step 7
|
Add rum butter to a cooled slice of grain-free banana bread and enjoy! |
