Grain-free Banana Bread with Honey Rum Butter made from almond flour is a welcomed treat for anyone on a GF or grain-free diet.

Ingredients

Bread

  • 4 Large Eggs
  • 3 Medium Overly Ripe Bananas
  • 1/4 cup Pure Maple Syrup
  • 1/4 cup Almond Milk
  • 1 tablespoon Malibu Island Spiced Rum (or vanilla)
  • 2 teaspoons Baking Soda
  • 1/2 teaspoon Sea Salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon Cinnamon
  • 1/4 teaspoon Nutmeg
  • 2 1/4 cups Almond Flour

Rum Butter

  • 1/2 cup Butter
  • 1 teaspoon Malibu Island Spiced Rum
  • 1/8 teaspoon Cinnamon
  • 2 tablespoons Honey

Directions

Bread
Step 1
Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
Step 2
In a medium bowl, mix eggs, bananas, maple syrup, almond milk, and rum.
Step 3
In a separate bowl combine almond flour, baking soda, sea salt, cinnamon, and nutmeg.
Step 4
Combine wet ingredients into dry and stir until well incorporated.
Step 5
Grease a loaf pan and pour in batter. Bake 40-50 minutes or until toothpick placed in center comes out clean.
Rum Butter
Step 6
In a small bowl, combine butter, honey, rum and cinnamon. Mix until fully incorporated.
Step 7
Add rum butter to a cooled slice of grain-free banana bread and enjoy!
