It’s that most wonderful time of the year! I do love Christmas but it certainly comes with a few stresses this time of year. Lots of presents to buy, parties to attend and of course oodles of baking, not to mention eating! I’ve been trying to find plenty of time to hit the gym to counter attack the excess calories that want to attach themselves like little velcro balls to the sides of my hips this time of year! Posting links to my favorite holiday recipes doesn’t help the matter, but it is a great reminder of why I love these gluten-free Christmas recipes so much!
My Favorite Gluten-free Christmas Recipes:
My first recipe is for gluten-free pancakes with Kentucky Bourbon Eggnog Syrup. Now what’s not to love about that! I enjoy serving these on Christmas morning, just before the gift unwrapping begins. (Click on the images to get the recipes).
Next up in my recipe of fav’s are Mini Dutch Babies with Raspberries and whip. Oh yum! These mini Dutch Babies are made in a muffin tin, so they are super easy to make. If you want something delicious for Christmas morning that looks Christmasy with the dusting of powdered sugar, this may just be the recipe!
Now on to a few Christmas Cookie recipes. These recipes are a little different from the traditional Christmas cookies, so if You are looking for a cookie with a twist try one of these! If you are interested in a traditional sugar cookie recipe, click here for a great one!
One of my favorite recipes to take to a Christmas gathering are my Honey-Teriyaki Meatballs in the shape of a Christmas tree just using fresh parsley. And an extra bonus, they are gluten & dairy-free!
If you need a last-minute quick throw together recipe, consider these hand-dipped chocolate pretzels with crushed candy canes. They are super easy to make and look nice and festive for this time of year.
And last but certainly not least is my gluten & dairy-free chocolate cupcake with peppermint frosting. If you are gluten and dairy-free this recipe is a must try. But be careful, it’s hard not to eat the whole dozen!
I hope this recipe round-up gets you off to a great start for your holiday baking! Do you have a favorite Christmas recipe that you love year after year? I’d love to hear about it! Please leave a comment below.
